2023 see’s 30 years of Slo Moshun! Originally started back in 1993 when Mark Archer (fresh from his Altern 8 chart success) teamed up with Danny Taurus who had recently released his lies ep on Marks Stafford South record label. Mark had pretty much finished a new Xen Mantra release which Danny thought needed to be a bigger release so the pair started work on a b side. This turned out to be Bells Of New York released on the duo’s own Dansa Records imprint and became one of the biggest club tunes of late 1993, early 1994. It went to number one in pretty much every single club chart there was and lead to Slo Moshun remixing the likes of Living Joy, Hustlers Convention, Spoonio and Heavy D. Fast forward thirty years and Bells Of New York has been remixed by Shadow Child, Ewan McVicar and the sorely missed Jamie Roy. While Mark and Danny have continued with the Dansa Record label, Danny has upped sticks and moved to L.A. so Mark has continued the Slo Moshun name as a solo project. To celebrate 30 years since the first release Mark is now taking bookings for house music sets, playing new and old soulful, vocal US inspired house and garage.
